Welcome to the Family Part 2

The joy of holding his newborn daughter was something that he couldn't even begin to express. As Shepard handed over Kiseki to her mate, father and daughter locked eyes. Garrus smiled at his little girls gorgeous green eyes, Shepards eyes, and nuzzled her cheek with his own. Silently devoting his entire life to her and showing her his love.

"Ya know, she looks like you." Shepard told him as she wrapped the blanket over herself.
"Yeah. But she has your eyes" he replied as he gave his daughter her first Turian kiss.
Shepard chuckled at his statement and nodded with joy. "Yeah, I suppose it's part of the Shepard gene. My mom has green eyes, my gran had green eyes. You get the gist of things hey hun?"
Garrus nodded as he looked at his love.
"I'm glad she has your eyes" he smiled as best he could at her "I love your eyes" he spoke in a husky tone.
Shepard grinned. "Please Garrus, not in front of Kiseki."
Garrus laughed, his toned voice reverberating off of the rooms walls before asking "Did you ever think we would be here?"
Shepard frowned at his question. "What do you mean? That we'd still be alive or..."
"I mean that we would ever be parents. But yeah I suppose you could say that too."
Shepard looked at him for a few moments before looking back at Kiseki who had now fallen asleep in her Dads arms. "Can't say I ever expected it. I died once it could of very well happened again." she stopped for a few seconds and touched Garrus' mandible lovingly. "But you kept me going and you gave me her. I lived and fought for the both of you. There wasn't a Reaper in the galaxy that could take me away. Not even Harbinger itself."
Garrus nodded and was about to reply before the door slid open.

"Where is my grand-daughter?!"
